Today’s happiness: While being unproductive on Facebook a little while ago I stumbled across a post from Innocent Drinks, which looked like this:
As Innocent subscribe to my brand of quirkiness, I clicked on Mr Legendasaurus Rex and ended up on a lovely page entitled Compliments are Good. If you visit this happy little page, you’ll have the amusing task of clicking through loads of brightly coloured, quirky, complimentary e-cards that you can send to your friends via Twitter or Facebook.
I sent one to two of my best friends and another to my fabby mother:
‘If everyone listened to you, we’d have world peace by lunchtime.’
‘When you make tea, it’s like a holy elixir. With biscuits.’
‘If you got splashed by a puddle, I’d give you my trousers.’
This is a lovely thought – just taking a couple of minutes (or more, because once you start looking through them you’ll want to keep going!) to send someone a bit of love and goodness. As you know, I’m all about the happiness and finding the goodness in our days and encouraging others to do the same!
So urge you to check this out and send some good to someone you know. Because if you do, they’ll do it to their friends and their friends will do it to theirs…and so on! Who knows – they might have had a really rubbish day and you thinking of them will make them smile and gladden the heart. So get out there and don’t break the chain of good!
